The year four children have been learning about Ascension and Pentecost. We have shared our ideas to make a class slideshow.
The year fours have also been finding out about the mysteries of The Rosary. We were very ambitious and tried to make a shared slideshow. The plan was to create a slide each about one of the mysteries. We have created a fabulous slideshow but we encountered a few problems on the way. When someone made a mistake and changed the background of their slide and added it to the theme, we all lost our pictures. It was bedlam! We hope you enjoy reading our ideas about the mysteries of The Holy Rosary.
Hi it's Ossian. That's cool that you are Christian.Just saying that you might want to edit the 37th slide it says Jesus out the bread. apart from that it's awesome.
ReplyDeleteHi my name is ketula and I really like your Jesus slide and the videos looked really cool and interesting
ReplyDeleteI have a question for you guys, why did you guys make a slide of Jesus?
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comment the reason why we made it is because we are a Catholic school and Jesus is a big part of our school.
DeleteKia ora Year 4 students,
ReplyDeleteI really admire that you all worked on Ascension and Pentecost together. In our class we have to work together as well and it is sometimes it is hard and we are older than you. The graphics are also very appropriate for the text.
At our school has R.E ( religious education) with Marg and Robert and there's also values with Mrs Martin. In values we had to make a poster of one of our school values and now we have to make a video.
On your second slide it would be nice if you put where in the Bible it is. In the box that said it took place at Mount of Olives. In the box above that it has the same starter, maybe you could change that to the setting took place at. Other than that very good work
Kind regards

ReplyDeleteI think your slides on Jesus are pretty cool. I like the way that you have put all the pages where it is in the book, that is really good. It is cool that you can work on two slides together. We have got 34 kids in this class and if we did this when it might be a disaster. Although when we use ‘padlet’ we can all work on a padlet together at the same time. How many kids do you have in your class.?
There is 37 slides in one and 2 in the other one that would have taken a long time to do all of that. We do RE that stands for Religious Education. We get the choice of RE or Values and I have taken RE.
I have an auntie that worked at your school, Miss Whitmore and my two cousins, Ben and Alec Whitmore. You might know them.
