Tongan Language Week

This week we are celebrating Tongan Language Week.  We are lucky enough to have three children with Tongan heritage in our Classroom.  We have been practising our Tongan by playing some online games.  We are getting very good at our Tongan language.  How about you?  Give the games a go!

Creating games on Scratch - becoming coders!

As part of our Human Impact theme, we have been working on creating a game on Scratch.  We have been keeping track of the time we spend making our Scratch games.  We are finding it takes a lot of time and patience, but it is worth it.

Nicole made this game: Click on this link to play her game.

Here is a video of a classmate reviewing Nicole's game:

Here is Nicole's review and evaluation of the game she made:

Check out the individual blogs of our learners to see their games too!  Please leave us a comment about our learning.
