Te Karakia O Te Atua - The Lord's prayer in Māori...

Galilee has been learning to sing the Lord's prayer in Māori.

We are starting to sound pretty good.

Our next step is to know the song off by heart

so we don't all need to be looking at the T.V.

Then we can smile and show expression.

What do you think?

  1. We really liked the way you pronounced the Maori words. You sounded lovely. Next time you might stand or sit up straight when you sing, this will make it sound even clearer. We like to sing Maori songs too and we are singing at the Old Age Home, Otumarama, when we visit on a Tuesday.

  2. Your singing was great. We sing Maori songs at our school as well. Maybe next time you could sing louder. Do you like singing?
