Arahura Marae visit
Today we were lucky enough to go and visit the Arahura Marae, what a fabulous day! We learnt all the korero about the wharenui. We sang a lot of songs and said our mihi and ate some tasty kai. Wananei!
Kia Ora Saint Patrick! I am Tristan from St Patrick's School in Panmure. It looks to me that everyone enjoyed the trip to Arahura Marae. How expensive was this trip and how much planning did it take? I can't wait for your next trips in the future! Keep up the good work St. Patrick!
Kia ora Saint Patrick, You are right, you are so lucky to visit the marae. I am glad you had a fabulous day learning Te Reo Māori, singing waiata and eating tasting kai. What kai did you get to eat? Was there any new kai you hadn't tasted before. My favourite kai at a marae is the fried bread! Tania
Talofa! It looked like yous had absolutely fun with the class. I'm glad you have been sun smart and wearing hats. I hope you will go somewhere else and have fun again.
