Capernaum's visit to Techspace

We had a great morning today when we walked down to the Techspace and were introduced to some amazing things.
We used a touchscreen TV which had a touchscreen overlay on it and played a game called Bowman. We tried some Leap action games and played with the makey makey. We saw some great 360 videos of places on the West Coast and played with tinkercad designing things that could be printed on a 3D printer. The 3D printer printed a stretchy bracelet. It also made a nut and bolt that actually worked.
Everybody had a great morning.

Kia ora,

In Galilee, we are investigating and researching the Olympics.  We have a plethora of activities we can choose from.  One of these activities is to create an advertisement for the Rio Olympics targeted at spectators.
Here is Netana's advertisement - tell us what you think!

Introducing the year 3 learner's to chromebooks

Earlier this term, our Year 8 children went to visit Nazareth and spent some time exploring the Kawa of Care with the Year 3 learners. They explored how to use the chromebook and did the digital dig together. We hope the Year 3 children are having fun using their chromebooks in class.
