Names of places in our area! Ngā ingoa o te rohe

We have been investigating the Maori names of places in our community and finding out what they mean.  We are learning about our turangawaewae.  Check out our class google map.   We have found that some are really tricky to find out while others are very easy.

    Whoa you all really know your area really wow, If i had to investigate my area it would of taken me ages to find all the places in my area

    I really like how you guys investigated your area that is a smart learning thing to do.
