Next, we tried a few experiments to get our curiosity working. After that we created a hypothesis, planned some fair testing, executed the tests making sure that we recorded our data and then we wrote up a conclusion and our next I wonder. We were scientists!

All about matter and changes of state!
We have just had science week. We became scientists. We did some learning about atoms and molecules, we even made some molecules out of marshmallows.
Next, we tried a few experiments to get our curiosity working. After that we created a hypothesis, planned some fair testing, executed the tests making sure that we recorded our data and then we wrote up a conclusion and our next I wonder. We were scientists!

ReplyDeleteHello Saint Patrick's School Greymouth, I enjoyed watching the short video you added to your blog because I found it quite satisfying. My class and I also did a little of science in saint Patrick's day, we made play dough using usual ingredients that you can find inside a kitchen. What did you use to make the weird substance that you were playing with?
ReplyDeleteHello my name is Kena and I attend Saint Patrick's school and II like how you colored it different and how you explained your hypotheses good job keep it up.
ReplyDeleteKia Ora, St Patrick's School! My name is Roneeza and is a Year 7 from St Patrick's School in Auckland. My class and I did something like this last year, but instead of working as a class, we worked in groups. I was wondering how many classes you have in St Patrick's School. Ours has 5 classes.

ReplyDeleteKia ora Mary, we made oobleck. You can google it to find out out more. It is a non-Newtonian substance. It is a very bizarre thing to touch, when you first pick it up, it is a solid and then it becomes a liquid while you hold it!
DeleteKia Ora, My name is Uinisieti and I attend Saint Patrick's school in Auckland Panmure. I really enjoy watching your short and simple video about science and I really liked the photo about the word substance you have created, keep up the good work .
