Teapot Valley Camp for Year 7 & 8

The Year 7 & 8 children had a great time at Teapot Valley last week. They took part in many group activities that included: archery, abseiling, rock climbing, confidence course, low wires, go karts and top team challenges. Here are some of the highlights.

  14. Kia ora Galilee whānau,
My name is Tania and I am one of the Manaiakalani Outreach Facilitators. I live in Whangarei, right near the top of the North Island, a long way away from you on the West Coast! I am the lucky person that gets to organise Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu so I will be checking out your blog regularly and leaving you some comments too. It's great to see you sharing your learning on your blog and on your individual blogs too. Teapot Valley looks like an amazing place to have school camp. It looks like you had so many opportunities to challenge yourselves and work together as a team. Riding the carts in the grass looks like heaps of fun! I imagine the inflatable activities in the pool would have been amazing, especially if it was really hot. I have been on one like that at the beach on the Gold Coast. Enjoy your week at school.
